About Resilience Healthcare

Driving Excellence in Care, Learning, and Outreach

Resilience Healthcare operates two acute care community hospitals, a free-standing outpatient medical campus, outpatient clinics at several additional locations and has established and sponsors several graduate medical education and residency programs in Chicago and several nearby communities. The institutions that make up Resilience Healthcare have a long and distinguished history of partnering with esteemed institutions of higher learning to provide educational experiences for future generations of clinicians, including physicians, nurses and allied staff. In addition, they have been valuable resources for the communities they serve, offering educational programs and screening services for community members. Over the years, the institutions that make up Resilience Healthcare have been owned and operated by or affiliated with both not-for-profit and for-profit healthcare organizations, but they have never wavered in their commitment to education, clinical care, and outreach.

The Foundation

Advancing Education and Research

Established in 2022 by Pipeline Health System, the Foundation was formed as a not-for-profit entity affiliated with the Hospitals to enhance the Hospitals’ educational and research programs and to expand community and international outreach efforts. On December 2, 2022, Resilience Healthcare acquired the Hospitals and the Foundation from Pipeline and reaffirmed its commitment to continuing to advance education, outstanding clinical care, research, and community and internal outreach.

The Foundation’s mission is to enter into academic partnerships to find new and better ways to discover and share knowledge that will improve the quality of patient care, to educate and train future health care professionals and to bring new technologies and knowledge to the treatment of patients and to the improvement of the health status of our communities through the integration of traditional concepts of education and research with the healthcare system's traditional responsibilities for clinical care.
